Pants has been in my pictures lately because she is very active.
This is a series about how she discovered her love of Brazil nuts.

Nice shot with very good detail... and she is cute. By the way, Brazil nuts are very high in selenium, and this is a good addition to anyone's diet, as long as not eaten in excess. How much is OK for a very small animal, I don't know, though.

@Andrew Gould: Thanks.
As far as feeding too many nuts to a hamster: she isn't actually going to eat them. Since they are food she feels compelled to hoard them. When I clean her house I'll probably find all of the nuts I give her intact except for a bit of nibbling.
If you offer a hamster some food they will eat a bit if they are hungry then they will hoard whatever is left.
cute looking hamster and nice info too

@Joy: Thank you for checking out little Pants hamster. She is busy sleeping right now but I'll pass on your kind words to her next time we see each other.
Thanks for the reply, above. Now I know a little more about hamsters, and won't worry for her!
