He studies math.
Vyv's calculator only accepts reverse Polish notation.
Booger was stunned when his number crunching didn't work.
Also, Boog lives in my bathroom (I put his house out when I shower and steam up the place). He loves to make annoying noises when I am trying to fall asleep. I thought all of the ham houses were pretty sound proofed. He still finds ways to make noise, like moving a bunch of his food onto his wheel and going for a run.
This might be tolerable except he likes running in short bursts.

he's so clever

@roger: He is by far the smartest of my hams.
Just because Vyvyan has a calculator doesn't mean she knows how to use it either.
Boog is the fussiest hamster. Sometimes he won't accept goodies from me, but when I put them in his tank he goes for them right away.
He looks older and more serious than I remember. Perhaps it is time for him to get a job.

of the four dwarves becci's had (two were before my time), only one would take food directly from us--unless they were in their cage. they'd tear it out of my hand when they were at home, but they would just walk right over anything i offered them while i was handling them. hamsters are so neurotic.

@roger: The really goofy thing is that he isn't consistent. Or moody. Sometimes he accepts when I'm trying to offer him sometimes not. I don't mind except I think it is cute to see the little ones eat and it is hard to take pictures inside their tanks.
Booger has never ever turned down a hazel nut. And if you give him a peanut he will open the shell on the spot, but that's probably because he can't store a whole peanut in his face.
