@MaryB: There is a hairless guinea pig at the pet shop up the street from me. It's totally naked except for a little tuft of fur on it's nose. It looks like a mini-rhino.

It's not even for sale, they are giving it away to a good home, but I am told that this kind of mutation is highly prized by some guinea pig owners.
