Mia took this picture while I was cleaning Booger's aquarium; she kept him entertained for a while.
Though it is blurry it is a favourite of mine. I like how his paws look as the only part of him not in motion.
The igloo is still in his aquarium but he quit using it as his house. Now he keeps all of his goodies hoarded away inside it. He sleeps in a nest he built is a corner under his wheel. Hams are not smart and his new nest has crippled his wheel.
Hamsters are not really properly domesticated pets despite their tame reputation. Often they exhibit behaviors that only would make sense in the wild. Booger doesn't need to hoard anything as he lives alone in an isolated space, yet he needs to hoard.
The marks on the entrance to his house are remnants of strong glue from a label that I could not remove. I tried to take all the glue off because I thought it might be bad for the hams but they seem to take no issue with it.

Our mouse has started to build a nest under his wheel. Maybe it is the result of a recessive small animal gene that goes haywire once they are caged.

you might already have tried it all but rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover can work to get stick off (nail polish remover does smell pretty foul, though)
