Hugh is researching beef jerky.

This picture is interesting to me because I use really super low light settings for taking closeups of the hams. If I use any lighting with a little white ball like Hugh and taken from a few inches away it just washes out the picture.

You can see Hugh in a mug here but you can also clearly see what was on my computer screen.

It's not a very good hamster picture but it demonstrates an interesting effect that I didn't know I could do.

I am not going to feed any beef jerky to the hamsters. They like dried fruits and veggies pretty well and they do not need to eat meat. Right now dried kiwi slices are a favourite with the critters.
